editIsn't the Consulate-General of Mexico located in Soma (Folsom at First St.), not the Financial District? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.123.40.110 (talk) 06:27, 9 January 2012 (UTC)
The last sentence in the first paragraph ("All six San Francisco Fortune 500 companies—McKesson, Wells Fargo, PG&E, Gap, Charles Schwab, and Salesforce.com—are located in the district") only contains a citation to the Fortune 500 list in 2015. This citation is not specific enough because it does not mention that those six companies are all located in the Financial District, nor does it say that those are the only six companies on the list that are located in the district. Also, the claim does not specify whether all six companies are headquartered in FiDi or merely have branches there.M.nie (talk) 06:27, 23 October 2016 (UTC)
The claim that Montgomery Street is the heart of the district is both debatable and not neutral enough in tone. I would either add a citation, make the language more neutral, or remove the claim entirely.M.nie (talk) 06:28, 23 October 2016 (UTC)
There is no citation that backs up the claim that "downtown" usually refers to FiDi but could also contain Union Square, Chinatown, Tenderloin, and SoMa. I think this statement is a generalization and does not clearly represent both sides of view neutrally.M.nie (talk) 06:27, 23 October 2016 (UTC)

Japanese Consulate has moved
editPer https://www.sf.us.emb-japan.go.jp/itpr_en/e_m01_05.html, the JICC is now at 275 Battery instead of 50 Fremont. I think this is still in the Financial District, but links obviously need to be updated (be aware that some consulate directories are still showing the old address).
