Proposed redirect
editMay I suggest that this page is kind of a dead-end for someone looking for information on stock picking or business valuation. I would suggest we do a redirect to "fundamental analysis". There would be some changes to make there too. I will do this if there is no objection. Retail Investor 16:44, 28 September 2006 (UTC)
- I made some major revisions to include certain information that will allow readers to appreciate the importance of the term. Based on actual experience, I included examples on the use of financial analysis by business owners and management. Modelwatcher 15:18, 6 January 2007 (UTC)
npv, irr, mirr
editI have this important question to ask that is npv ,irr, mirr also the part of the financial analysis
- NPV can be if you are doing an analysis of cash flows and looking to buy a company. - not if you are just using the financial statements
- NPV can also be used in doing forecasting reports and feasibility studies, which financial analysts sometimes do, and they make use of financial statements to come up with the figures. Modelwatcher 15:18, 6 January 2007 (UTC)
Correction
editStability is not one of the goal of the financial analysis. It only derives from the three goals stated above.
