Needs work
editThis article is going to take some work because it does not yet present a full account of the points of view on financial or finite reinsurance and would be unhelpful to someone trying to understand the news.
Not the same
editIt says the insures assets and liabilities increased by the same amount, but the insurer has to pay interest (additional liabilities.)90.214.102.41 (talk) 18:34, 22 October 2010 (UTC)
- That is true, but as the assets are earning interest, the liabilities are unwinding (i.e. the claims which are being covered are getting closer in time) at the same rate. These structures are specifically designed for consistent A & L behaviour. 180.219.41.93 (talk) 03:24, 30 October 2010 (UTC)
