Merger into Wachovia Corporation

This article is not developed enough and doesn't contain enough differentiation/information to warrant a separate page from Wachovia Corporation. Most of the information in this First Union Article is already in the Wachovia article.Wikipedianinthehouse (talk) 00:35, 21 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

  • Completely disagree. This was one of the largest banks in the US with a ~100 year history. Now wachovia is acquired by Wells Fargo should both articles be removed and made into parts of that article? This is not some small stub it is a sizeable, referenced article. The image File:Corestates.jpg is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here. In particular, for each page the image is used on, it must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Please check
