Ambiguous sub-section
editIs the text regarding "seafood safety" intended to discuss the safety of seafood for consumption (i.e., seafood safety or safety to the fisheries (i.e., sustainability)? The paragraph sounds like it is referring to sustainability of fisheries, but the word "seafood" may suggest the former. Clarification would be helpful.Datdyat (talk) 16:34, 22 October 2013 (UTC)
The text is intended for the former: seafood safety is concerned with human consumption. Changes have been made accordingly. Thanks.

Wiki Education assignment: Introduction to Policy Analysis

Missing Information In First Sentence
editTURFs is referenced in the first sentence but is not linked to a Wikipedia page or a source. An explanation of what the acronym stands for could be another good option. TURFs is not referenced at any other point in the article so it may not be necessary to have it in the first sentence at all. Spcampbe (talk) 05:08, 23 April 2022 (UTC)
Underrepresentation of diversity of fisheries laws
editThe only subsection focuses strictly on GMO fish. However, there is a wide variety of fisheries laws regarding location restrictions, quotas, and seasons. Including information about fisheries laws in different countries, in exclusive economic zones vs outside of them, different approaches to regulations, the restrictions MPAs (marine protected areas) impose, etc. could be valuable in creating a well rounded page. Citation issues
editCitations 4, 5, 9, and 12 have links listed but they are not clickable. Citation 1 has a weird partial link listed. Spcampbe (talk) 05:24, 23 April 2022 (UTC)
