editI'm reverting this edit [1]. Instantnood is putting parentheses around PRC as if that says something to the reader about the independence or lack thereof in Hong Kong. Using parentheses like this has no convention and is just something he made up. Furthermore, to confuse the issue, earlier in this list there is "Republic of China (Taiwan)". By Instantnoods convention, this would (attempt to) convey to the reader that the ROC is a subdivision of Taiwan, which if the terms weren't synonymous the reverse would be true... Having two conflicting meanings for parentheses is confusing to readers. Thus, I am reverting. SchmuckyTheCat 11:08, 14 January 2006 (UTC)
- Can you suggest an alternative way of presentation that is much clearer to reflect the difference with ordinary subnational entities?
