From the same Yahoo! search, Encyclopaedia Metallum has something like the following:

Originally recorded in 2000/2001 as two self-produced demo tapes. Re-released in 2001 as a single release and then re-issued by Underground Symphony in 2002.

Well, I can see there might be a difference between making and recording, save that that info might have been a brief etc. But in any case, here we've no citations/references on the dates in question.
