I have moved this information into the article entiltled Fat, which is where it belongs. The English word (as far as I can see, and I did a pretty thorough check) does not have this definition-- no matter how closely it sounds like the Danish word fedt, which you are referring to.

adding mention of FITS image format with .fit filename extension
editI suggest that this disambiguation list takes a link to FITS, a digital file format, into account. I would put it into the Technology section with a paragraph like this:
- .fit is a filename extension used by the Flexible Image Transport System (FITS), an open standard defining a digital file format useful for storage, transmission and processing of data.
If someone approves of this or has a better way to phrase it, I encourage him to add it to the page whenever he likes.
