Four lighthouses
editEditors please note, this article covers four different lights situated on two different islands:
- Little Fitzroy Island Light (Q105885274), built 1929
- Fitzroy Island Lighthouse (Q105885681), built 1943
- Fitzroy Island Light (Q5455705), built 1973
- Little Fitzroy Island Light (Q105885742), built 1992
commons:Category:Fitzroy Island Light also has photos from 1917, so no idea what they relate to! — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 14:10, 11 March 2021 (UTC)
- @Muhandes: is my analysis above correct? I have tried to separate out some of the data in the infoboxes so it corresponds to the correct lighthouse. — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 14:15, 11 March 2021 (UTC)
- @MSGJ: Yes, looking at the sources I think you are correct. The article is not clear enough on this point, but you are probably the first to notice it in the ten years since I wrote it... I'll add some words clarifying the issues. --Muhandes (talk) 16:51, 11 March 2021 (UTC)
- I removed the image because the top infobox is all about the 1973 structure but those plans date back to 1947 so must be about the original (1943) structure. We are really missing some good images of these lights, but I think better to avoid anything misleading. — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 07:49, 12 March 2021 (UTC)
- You have a point, I moved the image to the body. Indeed, if someone could go there and snap a picture it would be nice. --Muhandes (talk) 09:26, 12 March 2021 (UTC)
