Question
editLets say 5 year survival rate is 40%. So out of 100 given patients with same pathology, 40 of those will live for 5 years .. but what happens next ? A cancer patient which clears 5 year survival rate is considered cured off cancer or it is seen if he lives for 5 more years with may be 30% survival rate ? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 115.109.12.94 (talk) 05:22, 19 July 2010 (UTC)
Can we see statistics by country?
editI am doing research about countries with socialized medicine vs the United States and I am very interested in statistics (if they exist) about 5 year survival rates for cancer by country. i would expect the US to have abysmal rankings in that statistic given the academic elite views that our health care system is far behind the rest of the western world. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.182.153.76 (talk) 22:01, 5 December 2013 (UTC)
