redundant

edit

This page really seems quite redundant. Everything it mentions is already stated on the page Five elements (Chinese philosophy). 66.24.239.71 04:31, 29 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

I'm resurrecting this page as a pure disambiguation page. The duplicate info that made it look like Five elements (Chinese philosophy) should never have been added. Tattva does not belong here because there is no risk of confusion. — Joe Kress 07:54, 30 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Gogyo inclusion

edit

I have included the addition of Shinto link for Gogyo Five Elements. Zongqi (talk) 01:51, 28 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

There is no mention of Gogyo in Shinto at present and the only mention of five elements is in context of The Theory of Five Elements in Yin and Yang philosophy of Taoism. olderwiser 01:56, 28 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

The linke Wikipedia article needs to describe the ambiguity of what is otherwise nothing more than a passing mention of a generic usage. olderwiser 23:55, 2 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

Yin and Yang theory is five elements. The cited publication makes reference to the history of Gogyo from the five elements. Zongqi (talk) 01:34, 3 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

That's nice, but irrelevant for purposes of disambiguation. The linked Wikipedia article needs to describe the ambiguous usage. 01:52, 3 December 2020 (UTC)
