A "magic" sword in the Bible ?

A flaming sword is a magic sword glowing with flame, such as might be employed by characters in the game Dungeons and Dragons. According to the Bible, a Cherub with a rotating flaming sword was placed by God at the gates of Paradise after Adam and Eve were banished from it (Genesis 3:24).

It is at least controversial. The definition should be split in two: 1. magic sword 2. Biblical sword

Any "magic" that exists in The Bible is considered to be workings of Satan. The power of God and Angels is by no means believed to be 'magic'. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Critto (talk • contribs) .

Any chance for a source on Eastern Orthodox beliefs that the sword around Eden was removed when Jesus was born? I can't think of anything Biblical about that assumption and i've never heard of an idea like that before :/ Homestarmy 21:18, 30 December 2005 (UTC)

anyone had an update of the magical sword being removed during jesus birth? i admit im not an active christian by any means but i have gone to christian schools all my educational life i have heard of the placement but never the removal of said sword. also a second question. the above use of magic has it ever been stated magic is satanic or is this people saying that black magic chooses to use a pagan symbol commonly used to represent the devil by catholic breakaway factions to get the wordign removed? i mean norse mythology specifically refers to thors hammers as magical and crafted via magical means by dwarves. same goes for surturs sword it is crafted by magics most dark and ancient. in this sense the supernatural refrence indicates it was crafted by a god, demi god, undead, etc but does not correctly indicate the source of its power/s.152.91.9.153 (talk) 04:40, 12 June 2012 (UTC)

Principality

I just saw a cartoon tweeted https://twitter.com/Free00746552/status/1312600233616998400 which features the flaming sword among the angels, and the cartoonist has the sword belonging to the Principality (angel) order of angels. --Kiyoweap (talk) 08:11, 12 October 2020 (UTC)
