Fair use rationale for File:Ultimateflash.jpg

edit

File:Ultimateflash.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 16:18, 4 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

WikiProject Comics B-Class Assesment required

edit

This article needs the B-Class checklist filled in to remain a B-Class article for the Comics WikiProject. If the checklist is not filled in by 7th August this article will be re-assessed as C-Class. The checklist should be filled out referencing the guidance given at Wikipedia:Version 1.0 Editorial Team/Assessment/B-Class criteria. For further details please contact the Comics WikiProject. The Family list of Flash Thompson

edit

Can a list of Flash's family be added in this or the Supporting Characters list? SilentmanX (talk) 16:01, 1 December 2012 (UTC)Reply

It could probably be included in the "Relationships" section. Obviously it would need a short paragraph to separate the family list from the girlfriend list. Spidey104 19:46, 1 December 2012 (UTC)Reply

Agent Venom paragraph needs help

edit

Can someone translate the (currently) second-to-last paragraph under Agent Venom into something comprehensible? I'm not familiar enough with the storyline to be able to make heads or tails of what the editor was trying to express:

Following the conclusion of The Superior Spider-Man of returning true Spider-Man, Flash is mentioned by Spider-Man learns that his friend Flash was a new Venom and angry at the Avengers without telling him. The Avengers confesses that because Flash was a good soldier and secret identity in the Avengers' rules their both ways.

MCU Flash

edit

The actor said he got death threats and the source claims it went beyond people being awful on Twitter and social media. But I wonder was the MCU Flash liked or disliked by critics? I found one review that thought the change was really great and found it a more plausible and realistic representation, but most reviews don't seem to mention him at all. Can anyone find other comments from critics about this version of the character? -- 109.79.93.67 (talk) 21:20, 11 August 2019 (UTC)Reply

I think the lack of critics commenting on it indicates that basically no one found the changes particularly interesting or cares about the new version of the character. The writers made a mistake and know it, they corrected it by in the sequel by having Brad Davis take the place of designated alpha jerk[[1] instead of Flash Thompson. -- 109.76.208.49 (talk) 19:58, 28 October 2019 (UTC)Reply

Someone removed the note about death threats without any explanation.[2] It is important real world context, and I have restored it. There's room to discuss the wording and the emphasis for sure, but there's not excuse for removing it without any explanation. -- 109.79.86.215 (talk) 20:27, 30 May 2021 (UTC)Reply
