Find correct name
The airport is not listed as João Paulo II anywhere.
The airport's own website calls itself simply Ponta Delgada, and has no mention of João Paulo.
Template:Regions of Portugal: statistical (NUTS3) subregions and intercommunal entities are confused; they are not the same in all regions, and should be sublisted separately in each region: intermunicipal entities are sometimes larger and split by subregions (e.g. the Metropolitan Area of Lisbon has two subregions), some intercommunal entities are containing only parts of subregions. All subregions should be listed explicitly and not assume they are only intermunicipal entities (which accessorily are not statistic subdivisions but real administrative entities, so they should be listed below, probably using a smaller font: we can safely eliminate the subgrouping by type of intermunicipal entity from this box).

As it stands, this article, without any source attributions, seems fairly novelesque. Julian of Toledo's History of King Wamba is rabidly anti-Jewish, and equally rabidly anti-Paul, yet in all of the hostile epithets he hurls at Paul, he never accuses him of being an apostate, and while he accuses Gaul (Septimania), of having made itself "a whorehouse of the Jews blaspheming against our Savior and Lord" (p. 504 of the MGH edition), he says nothing about Jewish support for Paul's forces. So Paul's conversion to Judaism, the Jewish uprising, asassinations, etc., seem like candidates for removal, along with the embassy to the Basques, etc. --Isidorpax (talk) 21:39, 12 June 2012 (UTC)

Do we have any evidence Paul was Hispano-Roman? I'll delete the reference to him as Hispano-Roman until someone can come up with some contemporary evidence he was. The fifth and sixth councils of Toledo over three decades before Paul's rebellion both listed being "Gothic" as a requirement for a legitimate king; Julian of Toledo, rabidly anti-Paul, doesn't say he wasn't Gothic.--Isidorpax (talk) 23:44, 27 July 2012 (UTC)Reply
