I left a comment on my talk page, but basically, I marked this article because it doesn't demonstrate notability at all. One line of text and a reference to the organization's homepage does not determine notability. If there are so many sources to add, then you should have either added them or marked this page as under construction. — HelloAnnyong(say whaaat?!)19:44, 22 February 2009 (UTC)Reply
The article was only 10 minutes old. You need to give article time to be created. Apologies I couldnt find the template for under construction. Whilst there aren't as many sources as you would think for a foundation of this reputatation, i'm asserting notability on the basis of several reliable sources and the foundation being widely cited in both national newspapers, journals and papers.[1][2][3] It passes both the criteria at WP:ORG for non-commercial organisations in that "the scope of their activities is national or international in scale and that "information about the organization and its activities can be verified by third-party, independent, reliable sources." --neon whitetalk23:59, 22 February 2009 (UTC)Reply
This deletion is a nonsense. Anyone who knows anything about the aviation industry is well aware of the significance of the Flight Safety Foundation from which one concludes that HelloAnnyong is totally ignorant of aviation. No one should delete any article simply because they are ignorant of the subject. This user should have their editing privileges withdrawn for a period to give them time to think about their approach. treesmill (talk) 06:29, 9 April 2022 (UTC)Reply
