I suggest that this article, Flora of the Mojave Desert, be a narrative article to give a general reader the "feel" for what the flora is like, with flora the user is likely to encounter. I started a separate list article, List of flora of the Mojave Desert, which includes less common species.
What is best organizational structure for this article?
