Non-American Provinces?
editWhy are there provinces listed that aren't in the United States? Like the Canadian Province, or the Arctic Province. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.104.94.236 (talk) 04:37, 3 December 2007 (UTC)

Comparatable only to China
editI have tagged this comment in the lead requesting a citation, though much of the article is also lacking information. Reasoning for the challenge is that Flora of Australia has 20,000+ vascular species and an estimated 250,000 Cryptogam species. Gnangarra 03:51, 20 October 2008 (UTC)
- What is wrong? one of the most diverse temperate floras in the world. The Australian flora is not temperate, it is mostly tropical. Colchicum (talk) 09:37, 22 October 2008 (UTC)
- Australian Flora isnt mostly tropical, if one was to exclude the tropical species the figure would be closer to 17,000. This doesnt mean that US flora isnt comparable to Chinas flora...exclusively/only comparable is a big statement. What I'm asking for is a citation attributing the comment or was it a Synthesis of published material by the article editors. Gnangarra 14:32, 22 October 2008 (UTC)
