Removed section for rewrite and possibly to be added back, later in the page
editI removed this: "an art therapist, and the older sister of Margaret Naumburg, a pioneer of art therapy. Junge (2010) stated that Cane considered herself an art teacher with psychology knowledge. Cane did not describe herself as an art therapist, Hinz (2009) claims that Cane is considered the "grandmother of the expressive therapies" for her theoretical outlook with using art in expressive therapies."
It is confusing to introduce in the opening both art therapy, when Cane apparently denied she was an art therapist, and expressive therapy, the latter without a definition. Wikipedia style is to keep the opening definition short and simple, without "peacock words" about the subject's importance.
It would be better to write a section later about Cane's legacy, and to keep the citations' authors' names in the reference list only (not in the body of the page) for readability.
Looks like a Wikipedia entry for Elinor Ulman is overdue! Anne9853 (talk) 05:24, 22 May 2021 (UTC)
Verify spelling of parents' surname?
editWas it Naumberg which their daughter changed to Naumburg, or is this a typo? Anne9853 (talk) 05:40, 22 May 2021 (UTC)
