Non-Functioning Links?
editI just tried every one of the external links and none of them direct to the article/page in question. However, I am reluctant to remove them since it could be a problem with my connection (although doubtful). Could someone check it out? Seems to me like the owners forgot to pay the bills. Thanks. Despite being a master strength player, Campomanes was permitted (in the mid 80s) to enter the under 1400 section (i.e., a section for weaker players) of the World Open, which he won (taking home several thousand dollars). Don't have a citation source off-hand but it should be cited and included in the article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.217.149.46 (talk) 04:26, 3 January 2014 (UTC)

Six world championships in nine years?
edit"Raised US $13,000,000 for six Men's World Championship matches in nine years: Moscow 1984 and 1985, London & Leningrad 1986"
OK, but the list is of four world championship matches in 3 years! GeneCallahan (talk) 20:39, 31 July 2021 (UTC)
