Deletion
editReason: Does not meet notability criteria
- F Charpentier has't won or placed in a major music competition
- Hasn't received non-trivial coverage in a reliable source of an international concert tour, or a national concert tour in at least one sovereign country.
- Hasn't performed music for a work of media that is notable
- Is not an scholar or professor in a higher education conservatoire
- neither a composer nor a performer who has given first performances of major works
- based on the bio hasn't performed as soloist with a major orchestra
- hasn't released two or more albums on a major label or one of the more important indie labels
I say the achievements of this young musician don't deserve (YET) an article on wikipedia. Thank you--Karljoos (talk) 07:05, 12 September 2009 (UTC)
- I'm going to contest this deletion, as I believe he does meet the notability criteria.
- Prague Spring International Music Festival is a major music festival, and he was the first Frenchman to win in nearly 30 years
- I'm assuming that means solo tour? No, but he toured Spain with the Paris orchestra
- Was broadcast nationwide by Radio France
- No
- Premiered "Sylinx" at the 2009 Prague Spring festival
- Soloed with l'Orchestre de L'Opéra de Lyon and World Youth Orchestra
- No

- Well, I still think there can't be an article about every minor professional musician (including myself) with a résumé like this young man's (I think they should be removed!), but since you added references and improved the article I wont pursue this anymore.--Karljoos (talk) 05:28, 13 September 2009 (UTC)
