It is a sea inside the isl;and of Indonesia - as this is an unresponded to issue as found in the lead sentence of an article and untouched for over a year it is now here -

Anyone who actually believes that either the Indian or Pacific oceans actually enter the Indonesian island chain need to find some very good WP:RS to reinsert such spurious claims Satu Suro 02:06, 2 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
