pKa
editSure that fluorophosphonic acid has a higher pKa (which means it is less acidic) than phosphoric acid? I would have expected otherwise because, for example, fluorosulfonic acid is more acidic than sulfuric acid. And from which source do the numbers come? --2003:E7:7736:2858:55B2:7954:9400:1FF3 (talk) 01:20, 14 March 2021 (UTC)
- Pubchem seems to support you. They indicatte pKa(1) = 5.5 and pKa(2) = 8.5, but I cannot find a better source.--Smokefoot (talk) 23:12, 14 March 2021 (UTC)
