Cover artist

edit

Someone asked for a citation for the US cover artist: it doesn't seem to belong in the infobox, so here's one: bottom right of this page on the Harper & Collins website

Synopsis is written like an advertisement

The synopsis is written like an advertisement. Please rewrite synopsis.71.202.61.191 (talk) 05:10, 13 April 2010 (UTC) JohnReply

Seconded. It gives no actual information on the book. 167.128.54.83 (talk) 17:55, 11 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

Categorisation

edit

User:Sadads has removed this article from Category:British novels and Category:Fantasy novels, and added it to Category:British fantasy novels.[1] I'll happily grant it should be in that last category, but is there any reason it shouldn't be in the two more general categories? me_and (talk) 10:32, 17 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

It reduces the number of extra categories on the page, and reduces the number of extra objects in Category:British novels, to make the category more navigable Sadads (talk) 10:51, 17 August 2010 (UTC)Reply
Ah! My expectation was that articles should be in as many appropriate categories as possible, but since the more specific category is a subcategory of the other two, that makes sense. I forgot categories had subcategories *headdesk*. Sorry! me_and (talk) 13:59, 17 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

Synopsis

edit

The synopsis is horrible, it contains sayings such as "if books like Harry Potter aren't your thing..." Someone please fix this, I would do it but I am in the process of reading the novel24.114.252.245 (talk) 15:19, 10 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

The article is off to a good start, however it doesn't meet all of the criteria for a Start-class article specified on wikipedia's assessment scale. The two main points seem to be that the plot synopsis should be re-written in a more encyclopedic tone and it lacks reliable resources in a few places. Once these criteria are met I see no reason why it shouldn't be promoted from a start class in both WikiProject Novels and Children's literature. Aurum ore (talk) 08:38, 7 September 2008 (UTC)Reply
