Melodrama
editIt sounds like a damn campfire story, this needs fixing.--24.176.12.20 (talk) 15:51, 30 January 2008 (UTC)
Expansion
editIt should have a description of the creature and if it is shown and mentioned in other media that should be added as well.--Paleface Jack (talk) 19:54, 31 January 2014 (UTC)
Cleanup and Expansion
editThis article is poorly written and sourced and needs attention in order to meet Wikipiedia's guidelines and standards for a good article. The writing of this article needs to be worked on and, for the most part, rewritten as it is poorly developed and written. The headers of each section are confusing and non-specific, these section titles will need to be given more specific names in order to be more relevant and clearly stating the section's topic. Some information in the article is unsourced and needs to be given proper citations or the unsourced information will need to be removed. A lot of work needs to be done to this article in order to be a good article.--Paleface Jack (talk) 18:09, 26 September 2016 (UTC)
- It's been a while since I last visited this page. Still no improvement with the article yet. I've been thinking that the article should be broken down to and expanded in the following sections: History (Early history of the legends), Description (Physical and Traditional descriptions of the Flying Head), Legends (All versions and stories about the Flying Head), Interpretations (Interpretations of the Legends), Popular Culture (Any references or appearances in popular culture if there are any), Other Versions (Different versions of the Flying Head in various cultures). PLEASE NOTE: ALL pieces of information must be given proper citations from reliable sources. Any unsourced additions will be automatically removed.--Paleface Jack (talk) 19:37, 12 January 2019 (UTC)
Some cleanup
editI did some work on this article in response to criticisms above. User:Paleface_Jack raises a lot of good points which I will try to address later. As for "sounds like a campfire story" - well, it IS a campfire story. There are other legends of the Flying Head which I can add. Peter Flass (talk) 04:25, 29 November 2022 (UTC)
- @Peter Flass sounds good. just be sure to use proper citations and sources. I was gonna gonna try to expand it myself a while ago. I might have the outline of that somewhere if you want it. Paleface Jack (talk) 16:53, 29 November 2022 (UTC)
