Updating to correct factual inacuricies
editThe Food Safety and Modernization Act was passed by the Senate on December 21st, 2010, and signed on January 4, 2011. This article makes no reference to that, in fact, by stating the Senate has yet to consider it, it seems to imply that the Food Safety Enhancement Act died at the end of the session, although it seems like it was actually signed by the President.
I don't know if the article should be corrected, or simply merged with the Food Safety and Modernization Act. If the latter, should a "article merge" template be placed? Bcmuirhead (talk) 07:02, 12 February 2011 (UTC)

This article seems to contain a lot of overlap with the Food Safety and Modernization Act. Perhaps this bill should be fed into that page Bcmuirhead (talk) 07:10, 12 February 2011 (UTC)
Note regarding Merge on April 4, 2014
editToday I acted on an old discussion from 2011 to merge Food Safety Enhancement Act to Food Safety and Modernization Act. One discussion is shown above and the other half of the merge discussion can be seen at TALK:Food Safety and Modernization Act. However, because the Food Safety and Modernization article had been merged into the FDA Food Safety Modernization Act I have move the content from Food Safety Enhancement Act there.-- — Keithbob • Talk • 17:18, 4 April 2014 (UTC)
