Some issues

History: It seems certain to me that pictures of feasts and elegant fodd have been shared for centuries. I am not saying that DaVinci's "Last Supper" is food porn but numerous still life paintings, such as here and by other artists, were made to depict mouth-watering meals. It is relevant, of course, to say when the term "food porn" was first used, but that is not the beginning of the history.

Connection with business: This needs some work. It's based on a poll, and then "From the percentage, food and social media are starting to connect together as trend" is clearly opinion. Numerous examples of pictures and photos of restaurant servings going back 100 years exist, and the idea of publishing them was to attract business to the restaurant. Many web sites these days (2020) publish glowing "reviews" of a restaurant with pictures, which is presumably paid for by the restaurant. The noun "trend" requires an article.

Uses/community: I am not sure about this section; not even the heading appeals to me. "The popularity of displaying food in a physically appealing manner is driven by..." seems conclusory and is unsourced, and is nothing new, anyway.

Pornographic metaphor: Yes, the metaphor needs to be explained. But depictions of attractive food do not necessarily have a sexual content. To say that they do, and linking to Food and sexuality destroys the metaphor, which is used mostly in a joking way, in my experience. Wastrel Way (talk) 16:15, 26 August 2020 (UTC) Eric

Oh, I forgot to mention the inside cover of ZZ Top's Tres Hombres album, published here by Texas Monthly, which brought me here in the first place. That was in 1973. Wastrel Way (talk) 16:24, 26 August 2020 (UTC) Eric
