According to the Serbian press, the new logo should be officially presented today. I have seen it in the press, but it still can't be found on the net. I hope it will be available soon. --Vitriden 14:49, 14 December 2006 (UTC)

Interesting news, thanks Vitriden. Will keep my eyes open as well so we can update the images. Does the new logo incorporate the coat of arms (as used on the shirt crest?) or is it a completely original? // Laughing Man 15:04, 14 December 2006 (UTC)
I did see a picture [1] on the ФСС site, but was unable to read the entire article - will take me some time with a dictionary ;). Is there any mention of the association logo change in the press release? // Laughing Man 17:59, 15 December 2006 (UTC)
Well, there's just one sentence mentioning the new logo: "Спортској јавности представљени су и нови грб и застава Фудбалског савеза Србије чиме је и званично отворена једна нова страница најпопуларнијег спорта на овим просторима." Or, roughly translated - "The new logo and flag of the Football Association of Serbia have been presented to the public, thus opening a new chapter in the history of Serbian football." I still haven't found the new insignia anywhere on the internet, although it was mentioned again in all of the Serbian newspapers. Of course, they were too lazy to put it on their web-sites, so we must wait a little longer to get an appropriate image.--Vitriden 19:18, 15 December 2006 (UTC)
Thanks Vitriden, I also just have noticed that there looks like a news item was just posted to the association website with the new logo: Image:FSS.gif. I just wish they would supply a higher resolution image, but we can start with this one :) // Laughing Man 20:05, 15 December 2006 (UTC)
This version is just fine by me. I really can't find where you got it from, but I guess it doesn't really matter. I'll check for better versions, but I don't think that's so urgent.--Vitriden 14:36, 16 December 2006 (UTC)
I got from http://www.fss.org.yu, although the site seems to be down now. They replaced the old association logo, and there was a news item posted after the one above that discussed it. Will try to give a direct link here once the site is back up. // Laughing Man 17:02, 16 December 2006 (UTC)
Looks like the site is back online. Here is the direct link: [2] // Laughing Man 20:58, 16 December 2006 (UTC)

I just noticed another version was uploaded, but it is too far off the actual logo (colors as well as actual design). Although the version we have is low resolution, it is the accurate depiction of the FA logo. // Laughing Man 15:30, 4 January 2007 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for Image:FSS small.png

Image:FSS small.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 08:22, 4 June 2007 (UTC)
