@Kante4: Should this be discussed elsewhere? Now an article for the women's final has been created, this seems quite excessive to me and adds very little. S.A. Julio (talk) 12:49, 4 August 2021 (UTC)Reply
Comment: I came across this discussion after noticing the article about the women’s final had already been changed to a redirect. My understanding is that the Olympic women’s football tournament is second only to the Women’s World Cup in prominence (I know the men’s tournament is different due to age limits), so it seems inconsistent to me that there would be articles about, say, continent-specific final games like the UEFA Women's Euro 2017 Final, but not the Olympic women’s football final which I believe would (normally) be a bigger event. But I also get that if there’s an article about the women’s Olympic final, it would be strange not to have one for the men’s final, or even other Olympic sports’ finals, differences in quality/popularity notwithstanding. — stickguy (:^›)— || talk || 03:54, 6 August 2021 (UTC)Reply
I restored the article about the women’s final for now. I can see no reason to delete that one and keep this while it is being discussed. --Skizziktalk17:53, 6 August 2021 (UTC)Reply
