grammar confusion
editGeorgia[edit] In 2023 the Parliament of Georgia under Georgian Dream passed a new foreign agents law. This caused the 2023 Georgian protests. "Under the bill Ngos and independent media who receive more than 20% of their funding from abroad to declare themselves as foreign agents." what does the quoted text means? where is the verb marker? it's hard to understand. bill ngos, what is this? i I hope anyone can help to understand this erronous statement.2404:8000:1027:85F6:653D:CE3A:196:876B (talk) 11:59, 8 March 2023 (UTC)
- I have made some copy edits or corrections. I hope this clarifies some things. Politrukki (talk) 17:59, 10 March 2023 (UTC)
Merge from Foreign Agents Registration Act
editThe 'other countries' section from the article on American law (Foreign_Agents_Registration_Act#Foreign_agent_laws_in_other_countries) likely is more relevant here then there. Also, this article discusses the case of Italy, not mentioned in either article so far. Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 14:57, 12 April 2023 (UTC)
- I would support this. The source article is about an that is literally called "Foreign Agents Registration Act" and since we have more general topic, the proposal makes sense. Politrukki (talk) 09:10, 20 June 2023 (UTC)
- Merger complete. Klbrain (talk) 14:33, 25 June 2023 (UTC)
