Gentlemen, Here's an update of the switching of relations of Taiwan by Honduras to the Peoples Republic of China dated March 16, 2023. Please read and update according - https://peoplesdispatch.org/2023/03/16/xiomara-castro-ditches-cold-war-legacy-honduras-to-establish-relations-with-china/ Have a nice day, since you are witnessing a rapidly changing world out there as things are accelerating faster you can believe. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2603:7000:7800:18BB:9CBE:94D3:80D4:C458 (talk) 23:46, 16 March 2023 (UTC)
- Thank you. I agree entirely that Castro's directions mean that relations will be broken off with Taiwan. The article currently says this is expected shortly. However, the severing of relations has not yet occurred. For example, this article, like others, speaks in the future tense:
- "Her decision regarding China will put Honduras in league with the growing number of nations in Latin America that recently switched their diplomatic ties from Taiwan to China."
- So thank you for your efforts. But while the appropriate time to state relations have been severed is soon, it will not be correct until relations have in fact been severed as expected. JArthur1984 (talk) 23:54, 16 March 2023 (UTC)
