Support of Israel "nonintuitive" for a small Island nation?
editI removed the following sentence from this article:
- Observers sometimes find it nonintuitive that a small Pacific island nation should have strong ties to a Middle East state,
because I would first like to see some evidence of these nameless "observers" and because small, geographically distant countries playing international politics is hardly "nonintuitive." Moreover, the reasons for Micronesia's support of Israel is not obscure, but instead quite obvious—namely, the fact that Micronesia is effectively a dependency of the United States (this is not a denigration or criticism). Thus, there is no need to coyly insinuate a fact that is plain to see. --Ryanaxp 22:31, Apr 21, 2005 (UTC)
Ryanasp -Fully agree with you edit - I have tried to stenghten sentence by what is perhaps the obvious.
