Not a doctor
editI think it is demodex. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2A02:214C:8031:4200:F183:D34E:A8F3:B844 (talk) 20:13, 10 September 2015 (UTC)
Dealing with formication
editI've been taking Adderol for years now, and I've found that the best way to deal with formication is to try to embrace the sensation. It may still knock you on your back, but it helps to approach it like jumping into a cold pool.
Itching caused by nervous twitching
editWhat alleviates the itch? That is what we all want to know, right? Well what works for me is the application of ice to the itch point and the surrounding area. The colder the better. I usually apply ice cubes enclosed in a plastic bag. So far this has been the only thing that has saved me - what a relief!
Function of the talk page
editJust wanted to point out that the talk page is for suggestions about how to improve this encyclopedia article. It is not meant for discussions about the topic in general. Thanks, Invertzoo (talk) 00:45, 20 May 2009 (UTC)
- Agreed with above, though if we can cite the ice thing, that would actually be useful. I'm pretty sure there's no way we'll get a cite for 'embrace the sensation' though. 143.92.1.32 (talk) 00:32, 28 May 2012 (UTC)
Suggestion for further literature search
editI have experienced debilitating itching in response to withdrawal to both antidepressants and antihistamines. I don't want to add this to the article without references. Is there anyone with access to reputable journals who can verify and add this, please? --Peter Riches (talk) 03:25, 3 January 2016 (UTC)
