To my recollection the constant temperature of the ground about 4' down is always about 58 degrees Fahrenheit. Could Formosan termites potentially because of their subterranean habits and end up north of 35 degrees?

According to the definition of subterranean on Dictionary.com http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=subterranean means underground.

I think there's nothing wrong with quoting sentences from identified sources; the problem is that the sources aren't given in the reference section, but we should be able to rectify that. AxelBoldt (talk) 22:36, 26 December 2012 (UTC)Reply
