Find for Collection?
editI'm looking for any of these three pistols, the Fort-12, Fort-17, or MP412 REX. All three will be tough, if not impossible to find. So I am just throwing this out there, anyone seen any around within the United States? I'd love to grab one or more of these pistols from the region. And yes I know of the Makarov's, but have little interest in those. I have e-mailed RPC about finding one in the United States, but expect a fairly standard "we don't sell to civilians" style response.
Thanks! --JaymzRR (talk) 20:33, 6 September 2008 (UTC)
There is a fragment in ru-wiki - "сколько было изготовлено"Форт-12"? Пока самые крупные номера из названных в открытой печати - четырёхзначные: ФОРТ-12 № В-1346 и Форт-12 № Ж-1209 (похищен со склада вооружения МВД Украины по Закарпатской области 1 августа 2012 года и изъят у преступника 6 августа 2012)" ---> "How many "Fort 12" has been made? Nowadays, the largest numbers of these in the press - are Fort-12 serial number № В-1346 and Fort-12 serial number Ж-1209 (stolen from a warehouse in the Transcarpathian region August 1, 2012)." And as far as I know, more than 1500 Fort-12 pistols were made until January 1, 2014 2.60.108.94 (talk) 20:23, 16 April 2014 (UTC)
Fort-12 was not adopted in Ukrainian Army
editIt is worth mentioning that Fort-12 was not adopted as standard service pistol of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
- In 2009 Ukrainian Ministry of Defense was not interested in replacing Soviet PM pistols to Fort-12 pistols[1]
- As on 5th March 2014 there were not Fort-12 pistols in Ukrainian Army[2] 2.60.221.70 (talk) 03:55, 18 July 2014 (UTC)
