Challenge to intro statement

edit

I find this statement about Fort-Liberté, Haiti to be misleading

It is close to the border with Santo Domingo and to Saint-Domingue
  1. Santo Domingo is not close to Fort-Liberté
  2. Saint-Domingue was the French name for Haiti.

I propose this substitution:

It is close to the border of the Dominican Republic

Any objections?
