editI've just assessed this article as start class. This was because none of the details in the 'El Fraile in literature' section are referenced and the entire article is dependent on a single reference (albeit what looks like a good one). I'd suggest that American Defenses of Corregidor and Manila Bay 1898-1945 be consulted. The 'In popular culture' section should also be removed as it's pretty trivial. - It looks as though what used to be references have become much lowlier "sources" due to heavy (and undiscussed) edits which removed "cruft". Compare some of the older versions. The details of the destruction of the fort for example came from Yank magazine. Sdoradus (talk) 12:36, 10 May 2011 (UTC)
- Sorry, but I didin't norice the other source, by which i mean Yank Magazine. The prose seemed choppy, so I axed it and the pop culture section with no refs. I'll look it over again. Buggie111 (talk) 15:10, 10 May 2011 (UTC)
- Actually, sorry, I thought you were talking about my edits. Buggie111 (talk) 17:49, 10 May 2011 (UTC)
