I am sorry, but surely the Foundation was never that expensive!
We had several and would never have paid that much. The REs were around £1800 if I remember rightly and the Dancing Fader console was £6000. I think the foundations were about £11,000. This was from new, obviously.
There was also an optional editing package for the sound files that ran on the Mac.
- You may be right about the price but I did read somewhere that $60,000 was list, and judging from the amount of internal hardware that seems about right. I was under the impression that very few of these were actually sold. The Mac software was 3rd party and the company that produced it is no longer around, but I think there's a copy on an "official" Synclavier support site. Rabit (talk) 04:47, 15 June 2011 (UTC)
