Gosh, this is bad
editAre we live-blogging the construction's progress or are we writing an encyclopedia? I bet we could cut this poor thing down to a single paragraph. Paul, in Saudi (talk) 03:50, 10 August 2011 (UTC)

Rename
editPer the WTC site [1]], only One World Trade Center is spelled out. 7 World Trade Center correctly uses the numeral, and I've boldly moved 2 World Trade Center to the numeral. Since this article has a more substantial history, I'm raising the issue here rather than making a bold move. Acroterion (talk) 01:01, 31 May 2013 (UTC)

Four World Trade Center → 4 World Trade Center – Per the building owner's site, the building name uses a numeral Fitnr 21:52, 3 November 2013 (UTC) Fitnr 21:52, 3 November 2013 (UTC)
- Support per the buildings' own web site. Steel1943 (talk) 22:39, 3 November 2013 (UTC)
- Oppose per conventions with counting numerals: one, two, three... nine, ten, 11. The original name is okay, but the article 10th Avenue (IRT Flushing Line) redirects to Tenth Avenue (IRT Flushing Line) for the same reason. Epicgenius(give him tirade • check out damage) 23:03, 3 November 2013 (UTC)
- Comment: The WTC building names are vanity addresses, so the numerals are akin to address numbers, which don't get spelled out, no matter how large. Fitnr 00:14, 4 November 2013 (UTC)
- Support per the buildings' own web site. Armbrust The Homunculus 09:36, 10 November 2013 (UTC)
- Oppose. The buildings' own web site counts for very little, see WP:official names. Andrewa (talk) 02:01, 11 November 2013 (UTC)
- Support This Ngram isn't much to go on, but it's good enough for me combined with the official usage. --BDD (talk) 17:48, 13 November 2013 (UTC)
- (Weak) Oppose- "4" is good enough as a redirect. Many sources use "Four" and "4", but there's no such thing as "Ninety-Nine World Trade Center" or "99 World Trade Center". There should be a multi-page move request. George Ho (talk) 17:05, 14 November 2013 (UTC)
- The above discussion is preserved as an archive of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on this talk page or in a move review. No further edits should be made to this section.
Building Status
editFour World Trade Center's building status in the infobox was changed from Complete to Open Publically, Finishing on Exterior Walls by IP Address 72.66.2.121 at 19:42 (UTC) on 4 November 2014. This edit should be reverted back to Complete because the exterior walls are finished and the building was completed in November 2013. If this is not the case, this edit needs a citation ASAP.
