I propose deletion: it seems to conflict with the definition of triboluminescence.
As clearly shown in the article, it does not conflict with the definition of tribluminescence, that is light produced from the rubbing together of crystal creatling a p.d between them emitting light, whereas fractoluminescence is the emittion of light due to crytals breaking apart and then generating a p.d between them due to them breaking apart, it has nothing to do with the rubbing together of crystals.
