Linking of Grand Slam/Grand Prix medals

edit

We don't link medals awarded at events that are held every year. Where do we draw the line The infoboxes are limited to the Olympics and other major MSE events/World and Continental Championships. Sportsfan 1234 (talk) 18:01, 3 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

You have made 3 reversions today, even after being warned [1][2][3]. As there is an open discussion, started by you, at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Sports, please stop reverting edits while it is going on. CLalgo (talk) 18:40, 3 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

Infobox structure

edit

@Sportsfan 1234: Your edits are disruptive. Please stop changing the code structure of the infobox, which is in use in most judoka articles. CLalgo (talk) 10:04, 10 July 2024 (UTC)Reply

Your edits are disruptive. There is no "code structure" that is being changed. Please point out exactly how the code is being changed. Sportsfan 1234 (talk) 14:16, 10 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
The code was changed thusly: Diff1, Diff2. It changes the code structure from the one used for most judoka and the one displayed in {{Infobox judoka}}, which could make future diffs look cumbersome. For that, your changes were reverted. CLalgo (talk) 11:09, 13 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
That sounds like a "I don't like it". The extra space (which serves no purpose) removed means less of a load, especially on mobile. If there is no policy pointing to this, then I will be restoring my edit. Sportsfan 1234 (talk) 15:11, 13 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
Examples:
  1. Help:Infobox § Editing the target article shows an example with spaces, copied from the relevant infobox documentation page.
  2. Wikipedia:Template namespace § Readability uses the version with the spaces.
Please, leave it be, or link to a guideline suggesting removal of such spaces. CLalgo (talk) 08:58, 14 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
