- ... that Siam's first professional photographer Francis Chit (pictured) probably learned the craft from a French bishop? Source: "Francis Chit, a Thai-Christian born in Bangkok in 1830, learnt the daguerreotype process c.1847, from French Bishop Jean-Baptiste Pallegoix (1841–1862)..."[1]
- ALT1:... that the studio of Francis Chit (pictured), the first Thai professional photographer, was in a floating raft-house? Source: "By 1863, Chit was clearly skilled enough to set up a commercial studio under his own name in a raft-house on the canal in front of his Kudi Chin residence." [2]

- Comment: This is a couple of hours late; if that matters please treat it is a 5x expansion from 10 February. For Alt0, the Sarakadee source (in Thai) gives his probable teacher as Larnaudie, so the article states both possibilities and cites both sources. I've mentioned only one here to keep the hook short.
