I have removed one fact, that he was President of Magdalene. This may well be true, but Magdalene College Cambridge has a Master, while Magdalen College Oxford has a President. So he was not "head of house", as can be checked, but held some position like Senior Fellow. There really needs to be some explanation to avoid confusion.
