Year of birth?
editHis bio says 1947, but the cat says 1948. Anchoress 15:09, 23 July 2007 (UTC)
Articles he writes
editShould they all be posted somewhere within his bibliography or written as a list of essays? The latest one I read from him is here: [1] but I am not sure how encyclopedic it would be to include all his articles and state his opinions of certain subjects (in this case education) into the article. Cheers.Calaka (talk) 11:26, 21 November 2009 (UTC)
- No, he's written hundreds of articles. Rely on secondary sources that have noted his opinions, so as to give due weight to the attention paid to them. Fences&Windows 01:37, 23 November 2009 (UTC)
Name
editI reverted the move to Frank Füredi, that was not a technical move and should have been discussed. This surname may traditionally have diacritics, but he is known as Furedi on all his books, in the media, and on his own website. We style people how they are known, not by using "correct" spellings of their names. Fences&Windows 22:46, 29 April 2016 (UTC)
Criticism section
editSeveral negative comments by various people are rattled off (apparently to get them out of the way) while an entire paragraph of one person saying nice things about Frank is let through, no questions asked? What about the various reviews his books have gotten in national newspapers, or the 30-point refutation of Therapy Culture by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy? Don't they count? Truthteller88 (talk) 20:22, 8 June 2016 (UTC)
Significant share of Spiked Limited
editAccording to Companies House he has a significant stake in Spiked Limited, the website for which seems to be one of those right-wing echo chambers that are all the rage currently: http://www.spiked-online.com/ CrisH 23:10, 29 April 2017 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Cwbr77 (talk • contribs)
- If you go far enough left you do end up on the right, but I'm not sure that the alt-right have claimed Spiked (yet, anyway...) JezGrove (talk) 23:24, 29 April 2017 (UTC)

What is RCP
editThe Criticism section uses this acronym without explaining it. Section also seems editorialising. Tallard (talk) 14:23, 18 October 2024 (UTC)
- Revolutionary Communist Party (UK, 1978)? Was that abbreviation not obvious from the first paragraph? I've now spelled it out in the sub-section heading. Is that enough? Thanks. Martinevans123 (talk) 20:26, 18 October 2024 (UTC)
