Wife?
editIf someone would like to do some genealogical research, http://www.generalcooper.com/genealogy/d0/i0000020.htm is about Cooper's family. It says the woman who married Wheaton, Cooper's daughter, was Maria Mason Cooper Wheaton and that she died December 15, 1858 at 22 years (which also points out a discrepancy in the birth year). The article and the Arlington site say her name was "Maria B." and she died in 1924. Was he married twice? Hal Jespersen 01:48, 21 August 2006 (UTC)
- Good catch. It looks like he was married three times. I've updated the article to reflect that and put in a little bit of information about each of them. – Bu gee (talk) 18:33, 6 January 2009 (UTC)
Plagarism?
editIt looks like the "Postbellum Career" section is taken almost verbatim from this website: http://www.arlingtoncemetery.net/fwheaton.htm
Does anybody else see the similarities? Is the information put into that page by the person who wrote up that page?

I have reworked the section to remove the offending parts. I have used the original page as a reference though.
