Speedy deletion

edit

Worth1000 is a sister site and has a page on Wikipedia. The questions is why is there selective enforcement/deletion for one and not the other? — Preceding unsigned comment added by AZRaiman (talkcontribs) 21:20, 23 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Well, first of all arguing that other crap exists is generally not considered a valid argument. There are millions of articles on Wikipedia, so sometimes an inappropriate one slips past, and the deletion nomination was based on it being advertising and was not related to notability anyway. However, I have declined the speedy deletion as this does not seem to meet the threshold of blatant spam. Beeblebrox (talk) 22:08, 23 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
Edited the article to fit the neutrality policy. Removed all "opinion parts", and left only the facts supported by the stated references. Golunov (talk) 17:53, 24 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Undisclosed apparent COI contributors

edit

After reviewing this article's edit history (500 offset); the contributions and account names of FreakingNews, Golunov, and Registered~enwiki; and the article info (especially the authorship), I have added {{COI}} to the article and(removed and stricken per previous consensus) added {{Connected contributor}}s to the top of this talk page. Given the contributor histories, I also strongly suspect that AZRaiman (article creator) and AZRainman may be connected in some capacity, but they may just be an enthusiastic user(s). I have no comment on the quality or acceptability of their contributions beyond that they appear to be in good faith and do not obviously violate any content policies. Moreover, I have no evidence beyond what I just stated which suggests any such conflict of interest. I am just stating the apparent conflicts of interest I noticed pertaining to this article.

Since all the aforementioned editors appear to have not submitted any contributions in nearly a decade, I won't bother to template their talk pages. I will say, however, that if any of the users I mentioned are in no way connected to FreakingNews such that it poses a potential or actual conflict of interest, please let me know. If any of you are and would like to disclose your conflict of interest, please do so and proceed to follow the relevant policies and guidelines. Moreover, ensure that best practices are considered and perhaps consult the plain and simple conflict of interest guide.

Thanks. —Nøkkenbuer (talkcontribs) 20:49, 28 May 2018 (UTC)Reply
