Too much of this article is copied verbatim from Morrison own web site (www.fredmorrison.com/biog.htm) so I have changed the wording. Several website say that his father was a notable player, yet Morrison senior doesn't merit a mention in Andrew Lenz's "Who's who in Bagpiping" (bagpipejourney.com/articles/whoswho.shtml#anchor_M). Morrison junior does get a mention.
I have therefore removed the word "notable". Ogg (talk) 19:54, 10 April 2008 (UTC)Reply
I've nothing bad to say about Lenz, but his site is not all that comprehensive. You will find plenty references to his father in the Piping Times or on Piper & Drummer - and he certainly was a player and half. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.218.192.155 (talk) 13:39, 1 March 2012 (UTC)Reply
