Commentary / lack of reference

edit

I feel uncomfortable with so much commentary in an unreferenced article. Could it be OR ? -- Beardo 11:55, 24 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Zinnemann was born in Austria-Hungary in 1907, not Poland.

edit

Zinnemann was born in Rzeszów which was part of Austria-Hungary at that time. I think that the country of birth in the article should reflect that. A reference can be made to "former Austria-Hungary, now Poland". As the entry stands, it misleads the reader that Zinnemann was born in Poland, a country that didn't exist in 1907.--TGC55 (talk) 04:07, 6 March 2016 (UTC)Reply
