Wilhelm KempFF?
editWould somebody please pin down his relationship to Kempff? I've googled the bejusus out of this question, some results saying there is no relation, others saying he's descended from a Kempff cousin.

No relationship. --Karljoos (talk) 17:42, 21 September 2009 (UTC)
It is suggested that Wilhem Kempff was his grandfather. See:
http://www.allmusic.com/artist/freddy-kempf-mn0002203361 However their names are spelled differently and I can find no other confirmation of that.hypotaxis (talk) 08:40, 9 March 2014 (UTC)
- Kempf's own website says (in its 'Trivia' section) "Did you know... […] IS related to Willhelm Kempff".[1] Admittedly, the misspelling of 'Wilhelm' doesn’t exactly inspire confidence - and the claim on the same page of the website that Kempf "can stretch from C to G (LH)" suggests that he either has smaller hands than the current US president or that there's an octave span missing. Nationality
editIn what sense is he either a German pianist or a Japanese pianist, as per the categories? We say he is British and nothing but. His parents were German and Japanese, but he is neither of those things. He is of German and Japanese descent, that's all. I'm removing the cats. -- Jack of Oz [Talk] 09:28, 20 June 2013 (UTC)
