Hi, imho Category:Photography in India is a very 'bad' choice, imho usually photographers are categorized by country of origin, p.e. Category:German photographers accordingly to this wiki. Regards, Roland zh 18:32, 24 August 2014 (UTC)
Thanks. But how else can we categorise photographers who are not Indian but are known for photographs of India? Category:Photography in India appears to be a reasonable compromise. If you check the category, you can see that Linnaeus Tripe, Bourne & Shepherd et al. have all been categorised so. FWIW, I don't think that I'm too enamoured with the current system.
