Disambiguators

edit

In addition to the existing Wikipedia articles, there are additional persons (of somewhat lesser notability) also named "Frederick Frelinghuysen". At least two others may have had "Theodore" among their middle names (even if they did not generally use it). Just keep that in mind when choosing disambiguators; see also WP:NCP#Disambiguating. --AuthorityTam (talk) 17:09, 16 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

Senator

edit

Two different FF's (Frederick Frelinghuysen (1753–1804) and Frederick Frelinghuysen (1817-1885)) were BOTH U. S. Senators from New Jersey (see Talk:...Dab2010). Ironically, there is evidence that both had the same middle name (admittedly only one routinely used it). It seems less ambiguous to name the articles using the following facts:

I suggest the articles be disambiguated thusly: (general) and (Secretary of State).
I've changed the name of the article on the general to Frederick Frelinghuysen (general). --AuthorityTam (talk) 17:09, 16 December 2010 (UTC)Reply
